News Letter.   November

Is your Skin ready for Fall?

Fall is a time of transition for the skin. Not only summertime damage needs to be corrected, but a lack of preparation now becomes critical during those long winter months ahead.
While we are most aware of our “outside skin”, the “inside skin’ of the lungs and digestive tract covers a much larger area. This entire surface is replaced every twenty days, and degree, to which the condition of your skin is influenced by what you eat and drink, as well as other factors such as your environment and, more obviously, cosmetics, is quite remarkable.
No other organ of the body is so exposed to damage from the outside such as from injury, sunlight, smoking, environmental pollution, and germs. At the same time skin reflects many conditions and emotions that come from within, for example, when it blushes or sweats.
Cold sores and chicken pox show that there is some sort of internal infection that the immune system is fighting off, and a yellowish skin tone may indicate that there is a problem with the liver.
So you can see that condition of your skin is sensitive to a number of factors including your age, genes, hygiene, circulation, digestion, detoxification, immune system, your psychology, and of course, what you eat.

The natural pH of the skin ranges between 4.5 to 5.5 which is acidic. Detergents, chlorine and cold, dry weather all strip away this protective barrier. Once it’s breached, the skin cells pull away from each other, allowing valuable moisture trapped beneath the skin’s surface to escape. The result is even drier, flakey, sensitive, itching skin.
Tht's why is very important to use skin products which balancing natural pH. Great options include Lluvia Skin Renewal System.

Nutrition is fundamentally involved at every stage of skin development. Starting with inner layer of the skin, collagen is made when vitamin C converts the amino acid praline into hydroxyproline. No vitamin C, no collagen. And as you know collagen is responsible for skin strength and elasticity, and its degradation leads to wrinkles that accompany aging. Great choice for getting the natural vitamin C is Pure Camu™. It is a dried powder produced from the Camu Camu- the rainforest fruit which has a highest concentration of natural vitamin C on the planet. Vitamin C content in Camu Camu is enhanced by a full profile of naturally occurring minerals: B-complex (B1, B2, B3); and amino acids: Leucine-essential amino acid-increases production of growth hormones (anti-aging component). Serine- supports proper functioning of the brain and nervous system .  All this would be delivered to your cells in natural way.

There are couple more natural products from Amazon Rainforest which could  benefit your inner/outer skin.

These unique nutrients stimulate the migration of fibroblast cells responsible for tissue regeneration.

Stevia- Commonly known in South America as “yerba dulce” meaning sweet herb. Contains glucosides and terpenes. Helps to bind water providing hydrating benefits and to tighten and smooth the skin diminishing the appearance of wrinkles. New research from the University of Lund in Sweden has proven the herb’s powerful antioxidant, free radical fighting ability. It was shown to protect the DNA against damage making it may be a powerful weapon against visible signs of aging. Uña de Gato also contains glycosides that help soothe and refresh the skin.

Acupuncture might be additional choice for skin and body treatment.
When acupuncture needles are placed at crucial junctures in the facial terrain, the flow of fresh blood ensues, which immerses the area being treated. This enhanced circulation of Qi and blood transports increased nutrients and oxygen to the interprets the site of the insertion of an acupuncture needle as a "positive" injury; the result is to "plump up" the tissues and fat cells by the production of greater levels of collagen and elastin. Because certain types of facial acupuncture treatments address not only acupuncture points, but also the facial muscles, they are considered to have a beneficial effect upon sagging skin.
