When harvested , the fresh Camu Camu fruits are brought by boat across a lagoon to the Amazon Herb Co. drying facility. There, the seeds are removed and the remaining fruit is dried under controlled conditions and low temperature. Each 100 kilos of fresh product yields four-and-a-half kilos of dried concentrated fruit powder. This is over a 21-to-1 concentrate! The resulting concentrated powder is sealed airlight in individual “fresh” packs.
